Starting today – Thursday 16th August – visitors to Liskeard Library will be able to view a special display sharing ideas from Liskeard residents and community groups on how the library can support the town moving forward.

Over the past few months RIO has been out in the community talking to people about the library; we’ve had conversations with over 180 people and more than 20 community groups to understand their aspirations for Liskeard and how a renovated library could help realise their ambitions.

The new display shares many of the ideas from local people and also features a short film capturing people’s opinions. There will also be opportunities for people visiting the display to share their own views and ideas if they haven’t done so already.

The display will be available to view in the library until Friday, 7th September 2018. If you’d like to speak to a member of the RIO team, we will have a colleague on site at the library with the display on the following dates:

  • Friday 17th August, 10.30am – 12.30pm
  • Friday 24th August, 10.30am – 12.30pm
  • Friday 31st August, 10.30am – 12.30pm
  • Friday 7th September 10.30am – 12.30pm
